'Wanderjahre' is an exhibition by Francis Rikhof and Marc Otte. The German term refers to a newly-trained artisan who travels around for a few years to experiment, and get inspiration from others along the way. When his own style has crystallised and typical characteristics manifest themselves the Wanderjahre are over. For artists Rikhof and Otte the development, of course, is not over, but they mark this end to the second educational phase with an exhibition in the Vrijhof showing two joint projects ûfruit and cats- from the past years and samples of their own work. Typical Otte! Typical Rikhof!
The exhibition can be seen in the exhibition space in the Vrijhof from 24 April until 18 May.
