This Saturday and Sunday a workshop Flamenco takes place in the Vrijhof, where you can learn the principles of this traditional dance. Following on the workshop, a dazzling performance can be seen in 'Broodje Cultuur' on Monday. Luna and Alta Mar offer singing and dancing both intimate and explosive. Traditional flamenco (fandango, tango, alegria) will be combined with their own compositions and contemporary arrangements and choreographies. There is always room for improvisation, essential to flamenco, which gives each show a unique character. If you were good enough during the workshop you may even get to go on stage and perform!
