The Sports Centre management is surprised by the return of the feared legionella bacteria to its showers. Investigations into the cause are on-going, the UT-Facility Department assures. The results of the investigations will be used to take new measures. It is possible that the planned renovation of the showers will help.
All pipes have been desinfected and samples from the cleaned system have been sent to be investigated in a laboratory. People using the Sports Centre will have to shower at home or have to use the temporary shower facilities on site for at least another week.
