From 3 to 7 Februray the Student Union is organising an international open week, in which a variety of societies - e.g., sports, culture, study - open up their training sessions, rehearsals or another activity especially to foreign students. The aim is a fun introduction of international students to the societies at the UT, and vice versa. The international open week can also help determine what the problems may be that societies encounter in welcoming international students and how the Student Union can help counter these problems. The Student Union also hopes to find out in this week which extra-curricular activities most interest foreign students.
On the Student Union website (www.studentunion.utwente.nl/en) one can find where and when which activity is organised. All societies hope to welcome many foreign students, everyone is welcome! After the event experiences will be reported on the website. The Student Union therefore welcomes responses from participants.
