A colourful campus celebration

The Indian Student Association hosted a Holi party on campus last Saturday. There was food, drinks and dancing, but most importantly: lots and lots of colours. Holi, also known as the festival of colours, celebrates the triumph of good over evil and signifies the arrival of spring.

Studentengrap en kunstwerk Het Ding bestaat 50 jaar

Exact vijftig jaar geleden plaatsten studenten als grap kunstwerk ‘Het Ding’ nabij de hoofdingang van de universiteit. Vandaag de dag staat het bouwwerk van zes afgedankte telefoonpalen en staaldraad er nog steeds, maar sinds 2008 wel gespiegeld. Student prank and artwork Het Ding exists 50 years

Exactly 50 years ago, students placed artwork 'Het Ding' near the university's main entrance as a joke. Today, the structure of six discarded telephone poles and steel wire still stands there, but mirrored since 2008. Read an article from our archive on the unusual history of Het Ding here.
