Executive board chairman Victor van der Chijs will leave the University of Twente on 1 April. He is to start working as chairman of Deltalinqs and the Rotterdam Port Promotion Council, to represent the interests of the business community in the port of Rotterdam.

Het college van bestuur plant elke werkdag rond lunchtijd de eigen agenda een half uur vrij. Met dat signaal hoopt het CvB het ‘goede voorbeeld’ te geven aan non-stop doorwerkende thuiswerkers. Het initiatief past bij het centrale thuiswerkbeleid dat in de pijplijn zit.

The Executive Board frees up half an hour in their agenda each working day around lunchtime. With this gesture, the board hopes to set a 'good example' to people working non-stop from home. The initiative fits in with the central work from home policy that is in preparation.
