Dimas is studying environmental and energy management. He designed a modular irrigation pump that can improve productivity, crop yield and income for farmers. ‘UniPump’, as the invention is called, specifically aims to help people at the bottom of the social pyramid.

Dimas invented the UniPump together with Januardy Djong (student at the TU Delft). They are the only European team that has reached the final of the Shell Ideas360. On May 14th Dimas pitches his idea to a panel of judges in Amsterdam. The other finalists are from Australia, Canada, India and Singapore.
