It was the final day of the Kick-In yesterday. With an aptly named Kick-Out Festival, this introduction period came to a close. Now it's time to look forward (or not) to next week, when the new academic year will officially start.

De deelnemers aan de Kick-In konden vanochtend rustig wakker worden op de carillon-klanken die over de campus galmden. De Canadese beiaardier Gerald Martindale gaf tussen 11 en 12 een concert. Een handjevol mensen kwam ter plekke luisteren, anderen konden op afstand meeluisteren.

App for repair requests at the campus

If you live or work at the UT campus, you might have experience with submitting requests for repairs in your house or office. You might also know that doing so isn’t always an easy and transparent process. UT researchers Alberto Martinetti and Roberto Reyes García have decided to change that. They are developing an online platform that will allow you to send and track your maintenance requests with a push of a button.
