Een klimaatcentrum om al het UT-onderzoek en onderwijs dat focust op klimaatverandering te bundelen. Dat hopen hoogleraar Albert van den Berg, universitair docent Cheryl de Boer en oud-directeur MESA+ Miriam Luizink binnen afzienbare tijd te realiseren. Volgens eerstgenoemde is de UT niet zichtbaar genoeg in ‘de grootste uitdaging van de maatschappij’.

In a week of climate protests, activists from Fossielvrij NL posted an online petition on Wednesday. They claim that the motives of companies in the fossil fuel sector run counter to the values of the academic community. The initiator of the petition is Guus Dix, assistant professor at the UT.
