This course focuses on acquiring skills and using state-of-the-art methods to quickly and efficiently find and register (literature) information. It is intended for scientific staff members and PhD-students of the University of Twente. Programme: the course consists of self-study, plenary presentations and practical exercises, inclusive of personalised information searching on your own research topic. After the course, you are invited to make an appointment with your own information specialist to work on your own research topic. This includes an on-line search session. The course includes a syllabus, which can also be used as a practical reference for future searches for scientific information.
