Van Vught quits as rector
After serving for a total of eight years, Frans van Vught will resign as UT rector magnificus and chairman of the Executive Board on February 1, 2005. He announced his decision to the Supervisory Board and to his fellow governors. He is not yet looking for a new job, commenting, `I'll see what comes my way. Perhaps I'll take a few months off, but perhaps I won't.'
