Kijken door een virtual reality bril die een pizza-etende aap laat zien, een zelf gecodeerde route voor robotjes maken, zoeven op een segway en een ritje maken in een autosimulator. Het kon afgelopen zaterdag allemaal tijdens het Open Huis van de Universiteit Twente.

Zestig hospiterende studenten op Kamerzoekdag

'Graag een actief huis waar ze om je geven'

Zo’n zestig aankomende studenten doorkruisten gisteren het centrum van Enschede. Hier vond namelijk de Fact Kamerzoekdag plaats. Organisator Lynn Noor Rouw: ‘We zien gewoon de toekomstige bestuurders van onze verenigingen lopen. Iedereen die deelneemt, wil graag actief worden in het studentenleven.’

De Campuslaan stond afgelopen vrijdag in het teken van samen zingen, drinken en ludieke straffen. Hier vond namelijk de eerste editie van de Cantuslaan plaats, een cantus voor bewoners van de Campuslaan. Schachtenmeesters liepen rond met hockeysticks om voor orde te zorgen. Hield iemand zich niet aan de regels? Dan waren knakworst in het bier, een glittergevecht en een bierdoop geen uitzondering; het presidium was op alles voorbereid.
