O'zapft is! And the beer flows!
Every year come September, the German city of Munich gears itself for what is possibly the world's largest fair and certainly the world's largest beer fest. The Oktoberfest (October fest in English) attracts more than six million visitors from all over the world each year, nearly five times the population of the Bavarian capital. Though Oktoberfest is celebrated in some other parts of the world like Blumenau in Brazil, where there is a large population of German extraction, the fest in Munich is by far the most popular.
