A Day in the Life of: Surgical Robotics Lab
Surgical Robotics Lab (SRL) of the UT’s Department of Biomechanical Engineering develops novel techniques to reach challenging locations inside the human body. As its name indicates, SRL hosts a wide range of interesting robots and other devices – everything from snake-like continuum robots, to beating heart models, magnetized bacteria or a setup called the ‘Big-Mag’. What does a daily life in this lab look like?
