The pandemic is putting many scientists on temporary contracts in an especially tough position. In a letter to the House of Representatives, Minister Ingrid van Engelshoven now writes that she wants to use Dutch Research Council funds to provide 20 million euros worth of relief to around 1,000 researchers whose work is being affected.
