Freight transport will become much cheaper when unmanned cargo planes take to the air in a decade or so. That is the opinion of Hans Heerkens, UT lecturer and founder of the Platform Unmanned Cargo Aircraft (UCA), which organized its first conference in Ravelijn on Tuesday.
