1982: Eerste buitenlandse krijgt een contract aan de UT

In ‘Terug naar het jaar…’ laten we vervlogen campustijden herleven aan de hand van opmerkelijke verhalen. In deze dertiende editie gaan we met Manuela Fernandez Fernandez (64) terug naar 1982. De Spaanse kreeg toen als eerste buitenlandse een vaste aanstelling als ondersteuner op de THT. Na meer dan veertig trouwe dienstjaren zwaait ze binnenkort vervroegd af. ‘Ik werd aangenomen en ging dansend naar huis.’
