Knowledge integration
`Knowledge valorization - marketing knowledge - is a hot topic at universities everywhere, including here in Twente. But little is known about how the process works in businesses.' Jeroen Kraaijenbrink, PhD student at the Faculty of Business & Technology, discovered companies often have very little structure and insight into the effective integration of external knowledge. To this end he developed a complex model that shows the complete knowledge integration process. `This model is like a pair of glasses that can help you find, explain and solve problems with knowledge integration.' On January 27, Kraaijenbrink will defend his thesis, entitled `Towards a systemic model of knowledge integration: a study in the context of high-tech small and medium sized firms.'
