Lennon lives
The 30th anniversary of John Lennon’s death is on 8 December. To commemorate his life, concert hall Metropool and Filmliga Hengelo will hold a John Lennon evening. Acclaimed movie Nowhere Boy will first be shown. It highlights Lennon’s complex adolescence and the creation of his first band, the Quarrymen After this, live music follows. Naturally, Lennon and Beatles’ songs take central stage. - predecessor to the Beatles.
