‘A house should feel like a home’

The Student Union (SU) has noted there is a lack of student rooms on campus. The SU feels that the typically Dutch phenomenon of ‘hospiteren’ – where once you have found a room, you meet up with your prospective housemates to see if you would be a good fit for the house – is particularly complex for international students, yet the SU feels it would be a bad idea to abolish it altogether.

ITC: From village boy to global citizen

On the 1st of October 2015, the opening ceremony of ITC´s academic program 2015-2016 took place in Muziekcentrum in Enschede. The event was true to the faculty´s reputation as a place of cultural diversity: 141 new students from 40 different countries were present and the main speech was delivered by Wilber Ottichilo, a member of Parliament in Kenya and an ITC alumnus.
